Hello,

My guild has recently had a dispute with the site owner and I would like to know how I can copy the custom theme of this website "http://viridian-alliance.shivtr.com", so that if worse comes to worse I can replace the site with no issues. I'd like to know how to mimic the orangish, redish colour on the sides of the boxes, not the header and background

Hi Keron,

If you have Theming Admin permissions on the site you can simply go to http://www.shivtr.com/themes and click on the Site Themes tab and click Customize next to the site... that will load the theme into the editor which you can then use to save a copy of it =)

If you don't have Theming Admin permissions, it would be a fair amount harder; tho I believe that is based off of one of the user submitted themes in the public section; so you could click through there to try and find it.

Cheers,

Hello 8 Toes,

I just attempted to save the theme and the original was deleted or over written and I can no longer return it to normal. Is there anything I can do to get it back?

Hello,

It looks like you applied a theme to the site; this overwrites the existing theme, so unless you had saved a copy of the theme before then unfortunately no...

I tried to look for you tho and am pretty sure your original theme was based on this one:

http://www.shivtr.com/themes/129934/p...

Just with a different banner, so if you go here:

http://www.shivtr.com/themes/129934

And load that theme that would be a good starting point =)

I hope that helps,

If you know some PSD, you can recreate the layout in Photoshop, and then transform it into HTML (there is an online application that does that for you) or cut the layout and adapt it in an online theme editor, like Lubith.
