SkipScreen firefox addon vs. SkipScreen standalone vs. Megaupload

Hello, latest skipscreen (FF addon) doesnot handle captchas at megaupload now!
older versions did however!
I don't know where's the problem.
As instructed by skipscreen nag, Installed SkipScreen standalone, despite that Megaupload captchas not handled..!
Please help

This message shows after successfull download start. I have installed standalone version of SS, thus don't know how to run it as it has no entries in start menu....confused

standalone version is also a FireFox extension -- it should replace your amo extension, and you will no longer see that screen.. but more importantly, you will decode MU captchas!

thanks for the info, however I still am not able to skip the MU captchas, even if I installed SS standalone version too. It seems that Firefox still uses the "worse" version of plugin. Quite confused about it...

What version of SkipScreen are you using? Please go to Tools >> SkipScreen >> About and copy the version info

Did you install the newer version from the .xpi, or the .exe on http://www.skipscreen.com ?

In FF I have SkipScreen: 0.5.7amo atm.
I was installing SkipScreen standalone 0.4.12s recently (nevertheless I see no shortcuts to run it).
I am a bit confused that I was using SS addon-only previously and MU captchas were processed perfectly.

the amo version does NOT decode MU captchas.

It's not a standalone version (I never should have used that term) -- it's a .exe installer that contains the .xpi (as well as some optional components that help pay the bills).

It's strange.
I ran SkipScreen-Setup.exe again with Firefox closed and this time firefox addon is 0.5.5s.
Probably setup launcher required Firefox shutdown? It doesnot shout about it at all !
Anyway I don't understand why 0.5.7amo didnot get upodated in firefox self..
