I wanted to elaborate on this issue and hopefully clear up any confusion. Through the conversations we’ve had with customers and within the office, we’ve determined that the source of frustrations boils down to semantics.

What really are vertical slides?

There is no set definition in the industry of what vertical slides are, so we clearly show on our homepage what we mean by vertical slides (see image below), and this is a feature in the WordPress version (see other image). Vertical slides do not equal vertical accordion. As John was saying, the Crazy Egg and OpenCandy examples demonstrate a horizontal navigation, which is a customized skin that they themselves have developed. They utilize our vertical slides in one horizontal slide, then have created a custom skin that we did not create to reposition the navigation.

Since the origination of this thread, we have made improvements to our website to make things more transparent. We do not intend to mislead you or misrepresent our product. We understand there is a pressing need for a WordPress skin style like Crazy Egg/OpenCandy. Please be assured we are working on this but it requires much more than simple HTML and CSS tweaks. We are working on a way to get this taken care of as soon as we are able.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post.
