Nonsense Words

I am looking for an app that uses nonsense words. It would need to say the word and my students would have to type or drag the correct letters and sound chunks. Does anyone know of one?

There doesn't seem to be apps that specifically play with morphemes but have you tried this app? http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/word-w...

Thanks Lisa, I have that app. Our students are tested on reading nonsense words. I would love something specific for them to have independent practice with.

The new apraxia app from Blue Whale Apps - NACD might work for you. It seems to create nonsense words syllable-by-syllable.

The closest app I have found is Phonic Phil, you can hear a segmented nonsense word, but you can't drag letters or chunks. You can turn a wheel to change sound combinations to make real and nonsense words.

Another one to look at is twinkl phase 2 phoneme board. It doesn't do everything you are looking for, but it might work ok.
