Debby, you can easily import CVs – just setup your parsing Email address and forward your CVs there.

They will be parsed and imported creating a new applicant. Courtesy of our friends at Resume Mirror who provide this resume parsing (extraction) technology, you have 50 free parsings each month. You can also easily get additional parsings with Resume Mirror for a fee.

Here’s another quick tip: if you currently have an Email address where you receive resumes, you can simply replace it with your new jobs.smartrecruiters.com address (the parsing Email address) that you setup above. This will ensure that any resumes applicants send you get imported straight away.

If you haven't activated your parsing Email address, here’s how you can do this:

Go to Settings > Recruitment Process > Resume Management

Activate Resume Parsing and setup your own custom @jobs.smartrecruiters.com Email address.

Got it - I remember that topic. I believe you were receiving resumes in Hebrew? It is a language that is currently not supported unfortunately. What parsing currently supports is English, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish.

As a tip, what you can still do is create a new applicant and then just attach the appropriate resume to their profile. You can do that here:

  • Nik,

A lot of people in recruitment use Job Postings with boards like Monster.com and so on. also I get a huge load of candidate profiles to our email. and of course most of us use outlook.

I get about a 50-80 resumes in a day and i am sure that there are a number of people who get more than that number.

it would be a great idea to have an app that could pick up resumes from outlook and post it up to the applicants list on smartrec.

    • wheni forward the emails i receive from candidates with their resumes, i get a mail back from SR with the following message

'This message is to inform that new applicant arrived. Applicant sent resume via email but unfortunately we are not able to parse it. Please try to import applicant in the system or create new applicant manually using attached resume.'

Thanks Naveen - on Monster India > unfortunately we don't support Monster India, at least not yet, but we are working with Monster to make this available soon.

Regarding the parsed email applications - hmm, could you please forward one or two of the emails that you have sent to your parsing email address to my attention at nik@smartrecruiters.com ? Thanks!
