Weekly Release - 12/02/2011

In the summer, we released a job board recommendation engine, leveraging data to show the best performing jobs boards. We have taken the data aggregation functionality one step further with a sourcing indicator that predicts the likelihood of you getting great candidates. Based on the job boards chosen, the sourcing indicator considers your job, industry, function, level, and location in order to give the percentage chance that you will get enough good qualified candidates to make a hire. This real time data driven approach will help you find the needle in the haystack (while searching through less hay).

The sourcing indicator is still in beta. As we continue to add more and more job boards and sourcing channels, the sourcing indicator will become more reliable by the day.

Posting Package Functionality

For a number of boards - including Monster, Careerbuilder, Crunchboard, Dice - keep in mind you can purchase packages of job postings and receive the standard volume discounts. Use them whenever. As always there is no markup by SmartRecruiters. The price of a 5 and 10 Monster postings packages have the same price on Monster.com as they do in your SmartRecruiters Software.

We worked on some additional improvements and some bug fixes:

  • Email address / Login is no longer case-sensitive, so you are now able to access your account with both John.Smith@mycompany.com and john.smith@mycompany.com .

  • Issue with the selection of multiple applicants when sending mass emails is solved

  • Missing content in a few Job Ads has been filled, and the cause fixed.

  • Filtering the Applicant List by source has been improved.

  • The field where applicants can include a link to their Linkedin profile now supports all international LinkedIn profiles.
