http://www.smartypig.com/find-friends... is producing the "Unknown Error" page (whether I'm logged in or not.).

This search also matches some public goals. Clicking on those produces Unknown Error as well.

OK, looks like you redid the public goals area - probably breaking follks' bookmarks in the process.

Yep, we'll need to look into that today. Thanks for pointing out.

On a related note...

Searching public profiles for Ferrari produces 3 Michael Ferraris.
Must be nice to be so privileged. :)
But isn't that confusing for others?

Perhaps, yes. One solution would be to tag a city or state to the return listing, but you can always add that to the filter to help you refine the search. Good input though and something we discussed at length.

One solution would be to tag a city or state to the return listing,

Well if one them is "Michael Ferrari" and one of the other ones is actually "Michael Ferrari III" both living in Des Moines (http://www.whitepages.com/dir/des-moi... ), then tagging/filtering with city/state won't help folks understand who's who.

The person's middle initial was dropped when you redid the public goals area. That kinda exacerbates the problem.

So I do a "Search via Contact Info", come up with many matches, select one of them, and then realize I selected the wrong one.

So I says to myself, "Oops, wrong Amy Smith. Let me go back and pick the other one. Wait - how do I go back? My browser's "Back" arrow is greyed out and there's no 'Go Back' option on this persons page." Then after staring at my screen a little longer, I says, "Oh wait, I see I have a new browser window (it fully covers the older window, so I didn't notice there's another browser window on my desktop), so I just need to close it and I'll get back to where I want to be."

Let me cast an unsolicited vote in favor of making it more straightforward to navigate back from an SP friend's page. If y'all really want to do the new window thing (ugh), then maybe size it smaller and add a "CLOSE [X]" link...? Other folks may have other thoughts...

I just tried this, but it didn't open a new window or tab for me - Using FF4 on Mac OS X. I searched by surname, picked someone and it updated the page to say "request sent" for that user.

That all said, I can't figure out how to 'unfriend' someone, or remove a friend request that is pending.
