I really like the idea of a pre-loaded Mastercard, but I was wondering about an idea I've seen other banks do. It's the 'rounding up' idea. For example, if I buy gas for $25.65, when I make the charge, it rounds it up to $26 and puts the extra change into a savings account. Is this something that SmartyPig could do with the Cash Rewards card? Could that extra change go into a savings goal so I can 'mindlessly' save for something? If this were an option, I'd put $25.01 in my tank every time and save .99 per fill up! :)
Just a thought... thanks, SmartyPig! :)
