Sneaker Value

Let people add an estimated value to each sneaker. This could also be a sort function - by value.

  • I’m not sure whether we should or shouldn't... let the community decide!
    Interesting idea Garth...
I will share this with the Sneakerpedia team for brainstorming further.
It would be great to know what other SP Beta Users think about this as our original intention was for Sneakerpedia to be a "community space" not a "market place"...

Will get in touch if this changes...
But keep checking out the site as we have a range of upcoming and exciting developments planned for the site over the next few months.
Looking forward to checking out your crate.

  • Its a good idea, but not really necessary
    Price is really subjective..
Limited euro releases (solebox patta) get jacked up by resellers yet other releases dont because local people who get pairs arent in it to resell.. Australian releases, Sneakerfreaker collabs are always great but dont resell for much above retail.
Plus who is to say what anything is really worth? How can you put a price on samples/one offs created for celebrities?
I agree to keep $'s off the site unless its the retail value and not an estimated worth.

  • Hi Jeff,

"who is to say what anything is really worth." Love that sentence! It's a dangerous area putting estimated prices. I'm sure resellers would love it though.

As Helen said, we are looking into this. Maybe a retail price would be useful. I'm not so sure.

Cheers for the feedback and keep checking the site for updates and keep your collections updated with new sneakers.
