Install linux ver -> install ubuntu (.deb) ver -> fail

Tried to install on a clean install of ubuntu 12.04 (gnome):
* firstly, downloaded tgz for linux, as [the site|http://worklogassistant.com/] has suggested me to do:
** ran:
$ ./WorklogAssistant
got:
./WorklogAssistant: error while loading shared libraries: libgnome-keyring.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
** ran sudo apt-get install libgnome-keyring0
** made a symbolic link to the libgnome-keyring.so.0 file into /usr/lib directory
** ran:
$ ./WorklogAssistant
got:
./WorklogAssistant: error while loading shared libraries: libgnome-keyring.so.0: Error 40
** created a keyring via UI (Applications > System Tools > Preferences > Passwords and Keys)
** ran:
$ ./WorklogAssistant
got:
./WorklogAssistant: error while loading shared libraries: libgnome-keyring.so.0: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64
I am sure, I have downloaded x86 version
* got back to [the site|http://worklogassistant.com/], downloaded th ubuntu version. While trying to install via Software Manager, got:
"Cannot install 'gnome-keyring:i386'"
