Hi Tj Elgin -

What OS are you on? What version of Songbird are you using? What add-ons do you have installed? What happens when you attach the Zune to your computer? Does the Zune appear at all in the left-hand Service Pane in Songbird? If you get any error messages, please post a screenshot.

Thanks.

I dont know what version Im using. I updated it the other day but I dont remember what version it was. I think the only add-on Im using is shoutcast. There are no error messages when I plug in my zune but there is a noise indicating that I did plug something into the usb. and no the zune doesnt appear on the left hand side. I dont know how to take a screen shot.

Version information can be found in Help > About Songbird. The list of add-ons you have installed can be found in Tools > Add-ons.

What OS are you on? Did you update your add-ons when you updated the app?

Thanks.

I have Version: Songbird 1.9.3, Build 1959 (20110127030554) and the only add-on I have is shoutcast radio.

Two things :

1. I would recommend updating to the current 1.10.2 version of Songbird.
2. For Songbird to see devices, you'll need the MSC and MTP add-ons.

Hope that helps.

thanks for the help. did all that. updated, got the apps all that. now my zune is broken. says it has an error and to fix it, it needs to delete all the music. cant get off that screen. thank you for your time and help but now I think Im going to either curb stomp it or sell it to a tweaker.
