How to switch songbird from viewing my Music Folder and making it get music from Itunes after install ,cause I saw that option during the install, And does it just scan itunes or does it re copy all the songs again so theres now 2 files per song? Thanks!

Hi Johnston -

What OS are you on? What version of Songbird are you using? What exactly are you trying to do?

Thanks.

What OS is your computer running? Did you tick the "Import from iTunes" box during the first-run setup? If not, more information about that can be found on our wiki.

Thanks, and hope that helps.

Hi, Im using XP and I did not click the import from itunes on first set up, and if I do that, does it recopy all the music make another copy of it or does it just copy, the organizization of the music in itunes? And why for some albums theres not album art getting transffered over such I have albums with different album art for some songs and that does not show!

No, Songbird does not create a copy of any of your tracks. More information can be found in this thread.

As for album artwork, is there any pattern to the files that don't get the correct artwork?

Thanks, and hope that helps.

Not really any pattern to the files, I don't know cause I tag all my music through a program and it shows up on itunes, but once uploaded to my android only about 60-70% of albums have the actual artwork

Ah, so your question about album artwork concerns Songbird for Android. I would recommend opening a separate thread.

Thanks.
