  • Hey Bill,

    Thanks for the reply.

I was getting a bit desperate, so I phoned in to tech support today and spoke to your colleague Joshua Navarro, and I mentioned I'd posted on this forum when we spoke. He said he was going to try and contact you, as you were the one who responded to this thread:

    https://getsatisfaction.com/sonivox/t...

Here you intimate that the RTAS version of Vocalizer Pro was part of the latest V1.3 package installer. Joshua seems to think this is not quite correct. He's promised to try and locate an RTAS version for me (I don't mind an older version, as I am still running older hardware and OS anyway).

Has he contacted you yet, and are you likely to be able to find the RTAS version of the plug for us?

    Thanks for your help.

    Regards.

    Steve B.

  • Hi Bill,

In case you come by or anyone else finds this thread, here's where I got to with this issue.

I had a conversation with your Colleague Cristian Farro (thanks to you for forwarding to him). He posted me the only RTAS version of Vocalizer (V1.0.1) he could find. Here's the email I just sent him with my results.

    >>>> Hi Cristian,

Thanks for the download. Unfortunately although it installed and loads up fine in my ProTools sessions, it doesn't pass audio or do anything at all. I can't get any signal through it, or see any MIDI activity when I route a MIDI track to it (not sure there's a MIDI activity monitor light or other such in the plugin anyways).

I did immediately notice that there are no presets available, ie: nothing else seemed to install anywhere that gave me preset access when I click on the preset window. I've tried fudging around with it every way I can think of (moving controls etc), but I can't get a peep out of this version.

Never mind. I've had long standing plans to finally upgrade my systems at some point to take advantage of later 64 bit versions of ProTools, so I'll be able to come back to Vocalizer Pro at that point I suspect. Meantime I've actually gone ahead and upgraded my Izotope Music Production Bundle to their latest versions, and they support RTAS correctly and I can use their Vocal Synth for the same job I had planned for Vocalizer Pro.

Thanks very much for your efforts with this. Much appreciated.

    Regards.

Hope this is useful to you or anyone else finding the same problems.

    Cheers.
