The Mac crashing with Big Bang Cinematic Drums.
Hey I had the same problem with BIg bang Crashing Mac. Here is my answer.Save the Midi Learn File to desktop.I changed my Sample buffer to 128 .Also I bought the Mpd218 pad it responds better on this software than my Midi Keyboard and I have top of the line Roland PCR-800.Hope this helps. Thanks for helping out, Don! I'm sure this will be very helpful for others. :)

I have the same problem and my keyboard is also a Roland(edirol) PCR-1. Perhaps the problem is related to the way my keyboard sends midi. It has two channels, one for pure MIDI notes and other for sysex messages, etc. I had problems with Reason and I could fix it disabling the second midi channel but I don't find any way to do this with Logic Pro X

OK here is what I found when I first downloaded BBD.
My Mac crashed every time I played a note on my midi keyboard.
So after about ten times, I hit the Learn button first before I did anything.
Now I can play the midi keyboard and BBD didn't crash.
Now I saved the Midi learn file to desktop.
If you still have a problem with BBD crashing.. I would go into disk utility and repair disk. If that doesn't work.Uninstall BBD completely make sure there is no remnants. Reinstall BBD it may be corrupt.I hope this solves your problem.

I have noticed that if you put BBD in learn mode the problem disappears but as soon as you turn it off it crashes again.

You probably talked with Sonivox what are they doing to help you? I always like to know the end result.
Thanks. -

I have the same crash issue with BBC in Cubase Pro on a Mac. (Yamaha keyboard + Akai MPD226)
Don Suite's fix (above) really does keep the program from crashing. You can save the interface as the default with the "learn" button on so you don't have to turn it on every time you load the plug-in.
I encourage Sonivox to fix this bug because it's otherwise a terrific suite of sounds! -

Thanks Robert Spellman for your comment .Yes I was using Cubase Pro also. They can't fix my Video error. I'm a Composer and I need to use a video, to compose

To Don Suite: I did have a question about your earlier post. How do you save the midi "learn" file to desktop? I couldn't figure it out. Thanks, RS

Its me Don Suite: To make these drums work 2018.
1.Load them in your DAW, Don't Play them!
2.Select" Learn" after you have learned all sounds "Save Mid Learned" Far RT
3.Save to desktop.Shut off Learn. Now Load Midi Learn.
4. It will now remember your sounds on your Midi Controller. -

Ok. Got it. So I saved the "learn" file to desktop. Then I tried turning off the "learn" button and it seems okay so far. Thanks very much for your help.

Hi Krisse: I gave up on Sonivox; the program is too unstable (with Cubase Pro 9 on a Mac anyway) As far as I know they have not fixed it. It's too bad because the samples are really great. I have mapped some of their sounds into Native Instruments Kontakt. You could probably do the same in other programs. Good luck!

Hi Robert you are too right shame that don't fix it. Now I have to load the learn file from desktop every time.

I am having the same issue with the plugin in the MPC software ver. 2.2. I also have a macbook pro mid 2012 with the MPD232. I LOVE the sounds, they just need to fix this.
