Vocalizer Pro 1.3 not showing up in Logic Pro X Plug-in Manager

I just bought Vocalizer Pro 1.3 a few minutes ago, and I was excited to try it out. I opened Logic Pro X, created a software instrument track, and looked under the instrument folder and the SoniVox folder (I have Wobble 2), but Vocalizer Pro was not there. I saw that Vocalizer Pro needed to be activated by downloading an authenticator, so I did that and filled in my information, but the plugin doesn't even seem to be installed into Logic at all.

Nobody else seems to be having this problem. What should I do?

  • Hello Nihar,

    Thanks for posting!

I'm sorry to hear that you are having this issue!

Do you see the plug-in as available in the AU manager within Logic?  If you did not authorize it before opening Logic, it is possible that Logic has blacklisted the Plug-in, you will have to force logic to rescan it.  You may be able to do this directly in the AU manager for Logic, or by removing the plug-in from its dedicated folder on your Mac, reopening Logic, closing Logic, then placing the file back into its folder before reopening Logic once again.

That will cause Logic to scan Vocalizer Pro as if it were a freshly installed plug-in.

This article should go into further detail of how to rescan plug-ins within Logic this way.

Let me know if this helps!
