  • Paul,

    So that understand the interaction:

    - setup: captive portal with defined redirect page

    - user experience: with an iPhone
    - view the captive portal in a the iOS sheet
    - log in successfully
    - afterwards you are not redirected to the defined redirect page, instead you go to the last viewed page in mobile Safari

Is that correct? If so, can you confirm that the redirect page can be resolved (viewed) by the iPhone at that location. Also, which authentication system are you using to log in? I'll send this to our techs to take a look at.

    Best,

    Dave

    Thanks again for your response.
    Your description is correct.

The last page in Safari is the Google search page.
The re-direct page can be viewed directly by entering the url into Safari.

Authentication is via "AUTH" (Real Name Withheld) which uses the Basic Guest Module.

The Basic Guest Module is set up to use the Allow policy with Allow/Accept, TCP enabled.

All automatically applied policies from Sputnik are also used.

    Thanks again. Talk soon.

  • Paul,

We worked on some of your captive portal and allow rules together. I want to confirm if the above has been resolved.

    Regards,
