I'm currently road testing Squirrel - looks very good.
I can't find a field for cheque numbers.
Where is it hiding?
If there isn't such a field, can you create one in an update soon??

If you click on the 'i' button to the right of the Description field, you can use this notes field to enter cheque numbers, or anything else for that matter. This will then appear in the notes column. Simples!

I figured out how to add a note, but I can't see how to make that column visible when looking at the ledger of a bank account, rather than an individual transaction.

The Notes column is not displayed by default. Right click the table header to choose the columns you want to display.

Don't quite follow what you're saying here. The Notes column should show up as standard in ledger view along with Date, Description, Category etc.

Just to confirm, we are talking about Squirrel for Mac and not iPhone?

Attached is a screen shot to illustrate.
I checked Squirrel Prefs and the View menu to see if there is a way to make "notes" show in a column, only when an individual entry is viewed and then one clicks the "i" button.
