We would definitely like to be able to do that. We're considering it for a future release. Thanks for the suggestion!

Just make use of the new iCloud storage in iOS 5, and syncing will be done painlessly and automatically.

Well, *running at all* in iOS 5 would be a good start...

Yep. But from what I understand, Amazon bought Stanza just to prevent its continued development, so I guess there is little chance of either...

Would love to see this. It's a pain in the butt managing big collections on two or more devices.

The obvious things to sync aside (books, bookmarks, collections, covers) could I request that sort order is synchronised as well? For long series of books this is very helpful and it's a pain to sort 30+ books multiple times.

Totally agree. I do import books to ibooks and its a major pain too...Stanza would leapfrog iBooks with this capability.

Reading Points would also need to be sync'd to Stanza Desktop (Window & Mac)

Please consider this! I would love to sync all reading points in books between ipad and iphone so I can read seamless when I'm at home (ipad) or on the go (iphone).

iBooks does this, but I like stanza's interface and light-on-dark-text too much to consider switching.

Is this ever going to happen? Is Stanza still alive?

I use Calibre to organize my books I know that the app post up an online library for me to wirelessly download books from. Could the two companies work it out so devices could use that to sync with? Not sure if anyone is there to read this but it could be a starting point.

Add whispersync to sync books and current-bookmarks between devices and applications (e.g., sync from iphone stanza to kindle). I like the eink screen on my kindle, but prefer stanza in the dark or when I only have my phone with me. I know Amazon acquired Lexcycle, so maybe this is feasible now?

I too I would like to see a cross device sync feature in stanza. I'm also using apple's eBook app, which does support that feature and I really like it. When reading on my iPad and I switch to my iPod, it opens the book on the same page where I left it off on the iPad, and vice versa. I hope to see this implented in Stanza very soon!!!!

I'm also very much in favor of Stanza syncing between devices. I use an iPhone 4 to read when out and about but mainly use my iPad 2 to read at home....it's a real pain in the butt not being able to sync between the two devices. I'd love to be able to open Stanza on either device and pick up reading where I left off on the other device.

I would really like to see this as well.

I haven't seen any updates in a while or even recent things happening on the forum here, hopefully stanza isn't going to be abandoned. I really like it.

All the signs are at Stanza has been abandoned. There has been no sign of Stanza support for over a year now.

Ever since Amazon bought LexCycle development seems to have basically stopped. One assumes that Amazon are going to let Stanza die by neglect.

Since I find that Stanza does not run on IOS 5 (at least on the beta 2 release) without an update it will shortly be dead in the water.

Mmm, I didn't know that LexCycle had been bought by Amazon. Of course they'll let Stanza die....Amazon will be pushing their Kindle app instead. And this would be an incredible shame.... I believe that Stanza is the best e-reader on the market.
