trying to retrieve a lost receipt from Staples

I called the 800 number three times with no results. Each time I had to submit the same information again for them to start the search over again. Has anyone been successful getting a lost receipt?

If you paid with a credit card at a retail store, the manager can create a duplicate of the receipt from a transaction less than thirty days (approximately) old.

This is also late and I believe they aren't allowed to do it really anymore, however, if you have the card you used to pay or know the exact date and amount, they have the ability in store to look up receipts.

Of course this is only for in store purchases.

I just called Staples at this number:800-333-3330 and was told I'd have a lost receipt form within 5 days to get a lost receipt duplicate, since I don't have a way for them to fax it to me.

I was on the phone w/ Staples for over 2 hrs. last night. I just got soo angry it was like they didn't didn't want to help me. Most of this was on the 3330 # listed above!
