How do I make my new username work as part of the URL?

Hi, I started off with the username of "kissmyassam" and it seemed kind of funny but in a couple of hours it seemed less clever and sustainable. So I changed it to something I could live with; "teatime traveler," and updated it in my account. Still, the only way I get the page from the URL field is to put in . When I enter , it comes to a "no page" sort of screen in black with white letters, the one that brought me to this page. Is there a way to change my username at a deeper level so it all lines up? I imagine there is and will work on it now but someone please let me know what you would do or if you've successfully edited an earlier choice. Thanks!

I am replying to my own question because, for some reason, my contrasting URLs were edited out. The question now makes no sense. I will try again! If I put in steepster.com slash kissmyassam I get my page, if I put in steepster.com slash teatime traveler, I don't get anything but the black and white page that led me to this forum. Ack! I hope this works....R

Hi Rachel,

Now the question makes more sense :)
Under your account settings, change your username and that should update your URL. Changing the display name just changes what people see on the site but doesn't affect the URL. Let me know if that doesn't work.

This DOES answer the question, thanks, Jason!! It's so easy when you know how to navigate the site and learn how it "thinks."
