African American Father's Making a Difference in Many lives!

Minister James M. Faison Jr. is a loving husband, the father of one son, a campus minister, a mentor, an author, a graduate student, and a man of character and humility. James has dedicated his life to being a humanitarian and has volunteered with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill God First Campus Ministry for over 12 years and as a Campus Minister for 6 years. In 2009, he was awarded the “Campus Legend” award by his Pastor Dr. Patrick L. Wooden Sr. of the Upper Room COGIC for his dedicated service to College Ministry.

Recently, Faison was featured in an article called “Clinton Graduate Returns to Share Life Lessons with Students” (http://clintonnc.com/bookmark/22037874). Faison used his new book, “Tackled by Faith” as a focus point to help students understand how they can develop their own characters. Many students were able to focus on several factors in their lives that need improvement to shape them into the people they want to become.
