Change in reply by Asher A. to You said, "Yes many christians are proudful and are critical of other christians. The Lord does not use them." False. I don't have many biases, but I do have several which I look forward to not having anymore. One of my biases is that it's extremely hard for me to listen to or respect the opinions (plural) of someone who is in error. But people in error say things that are factual too. I try to dodge error 100% but sometimes end up throwing out the person with their error. You're in error here, but hopefully it's just your beliefs that are in error and not you. God uses EVERYONE. My friend, God uses even satan. You must return to your Bible and set your religious spectacles aside while you read it again. Paul talks about false ministers whom God DOES use (verses provided on request); God used Balaam to bless Israel whose intention was to CURSE Israel; God used satan to bless the world (by killing Jesus) whose only intention was to kill Jesus. The list in the Bible is endless. I've found, to my dismay at first, that God will use a satanist to do good. God will use a minister that publicly sleeps with other women besides his wife to bless others and so miracles and wonders. Where have you been sleeping? Have you heard of the ministers of the past few centuries? Some people don't know whether some were true or false (like John Alexander Dowie, William Branham, and Aimee Semple McPherson) because God used them to bless in spite of their strange or ungodly ways. God uses satan to refine the Saints. He uses unchristian parents to raise good children, because "it is God who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure" applies PARTICULARLY but not SPECIFIALLY to believers (because God works in ANIMALS to care for their young and certainly in nonchristian humans to do good deeds, but not deeds that lead to salvation). James said, "Every good and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights." Whenever you see a person (or even an animal) doing good, IT IS GOD or the nature/influence/overseership of God in the prison (or animal) that makes that possible. Everything good is from God. That's why Paul could confidently say in Philippians 1 that some ministers preached the gospel out of bad intentions (i.e. at the judgment, they won't make the "Well done, good and faithful servant" cut) but that it was GOOD that they preached the gospel (but their bad intentions in preaching will be bad for THEM at the judgment). Are you starting to see how this works? God was never a cut and dry Person. Western culture cannot fit Him in any of the boxes that we've forced (and bound) everyone else into. God does only good; but He works good through bad too. No one else, human or spirit, is capable of doing anything like it..

Change in reply by Asher A. to According to your comment, cavanaugh, I would have to guess your age at eleven years old and your years as a christian at six months. What exactly are you saying? Did you eat before you commented? Did you sleep? Did you get some sun? You old religious people are always proving what Jesus said and exemplified-- that SPIRITUAL knowledge, understanding, and wisdom do not come with age or experience but directly from God by the revelation of the Holy Spirit. But ignorant christians still think that age, experience, and whatever else are enough to grant wisdom and good sense. This was never true nor can it ever be true. Jesus at age 12 had more wisdom than old religious leaders. And in case people say, "Well, that was Jesus," the psalmist in Ps. 119:98-100 makes it clear that the rule that wisdom comes from God, not age and experience, is not reserved for Jesus but for everyone. What you said here certainly doesn't betray your physical age or your years as a christian; but it does betray that you do not know God and do not receive your wisdom and revelation from Him. God help you. And God deliver the whole would from convenient, prideful, arrogant western christianity..

Change in reply by Asher A. to Russ Martin, you're an idiot. ANY minister who is in a leadership position but does not encourage and train God's people to also minister and lead is false. You would fall apart if anyone with sense (that's most people) questioned your religion. You are in embarrassing error. Ephesians 4:11-16 EXPRESSLY shows that the ministry gifts (i.e. the ministers themselves) were given to the churches in order to BUILD UP the Saints and BRING THEM TO MATURITY. But IGNORANT and untaught christians like you think that a minister is supposed to be 'the professional' at the top of the ladder with everyone else 'looking up' to them. Idiocy. Revisit the Bible; take off your western lenses (that dictate that there is a hierarchy where clergy or leaders are at the top and laypeople under them); and LOOK at the Pages UNTIL the Word begins to open to you, because as it is now, you have not graduated past FIRST GRADE in the Spirit. How pathetic. And if you're ignorant enough, after reading this, to presume that you are walking in the truth, then let us ask and answer questions back and forth until it begins to dawn on you that you have been totally deceived by the THINKING and WORLDVIEW of western culture which has crept into and almost completely deviled what BIBLICAL Christianity in fact IS. I have not seen as much ignorance, error, and idiocy anywhere (perhaps except in the flat earth movement) as I have seen in western christians: thinking themselves to be wise, they have become the greatest fools, and not fools for Christ's sake but fools for their own sakes, from arrogance and ignorance. You are totally deceived. You have been lied to. And you bought it all, hook, line, and sinker. You have been hoodwinked. You have invested in a total and complete sham which puts you in the position to oppose the two Jesus and the real workings of God when they manifest..

Change in reply by Asher A. to Cox has no obligation to do your homework for you. You need to grow up and stop hiding behind religion. The Bible says, "Without holiness, NO ONE will see the Lord," but you and most lazy (i.e. insincere) christians interpret it with your poached egg minds to say, "Without christianity, no one will see the Lord." You can be christian all you want, but christianity cannot get you into Heaven nor has it ever gotten anyone into Heaven. Don't be lazy (insincere). The Bible both says, "Study to YOURSELF approved" and "the Bereans were fair-minded and searched out the Scriptures for THEMSELVES" to see if what Paul was saying was true. So strangle your religious spirit on the hangman's noose, if you're wise, and don't try to intimidate Cox into giving into your immature demands by demanding proof, you fool. The Bible itself tells you that when someone makes any claim, YOU are supposed to find out whether it's true (proof) or false (error) by YOURSELF if you in fact have the Holy Spirit who alone is able to divide truth from error and to reveal spiritual things as they are, not as we think they are or should be. \ Lazy fool. If you were really a follower of Jesus, you would have known these things already and would investigate the matter YOURSELF. Solomon said that God hides truths PURPOSELY and that only followers of His seek them out THEMSELVES... or do you not remember that in Hide and Seek, the onus to hide is on the person dictating things and the obligation to seek on everyone else, even little children. Does the person hiding the item find it for the others? Or so the others find it for each other? No, the one who finds it finds it for HIMSELF, you fool. So it is with spiritual things. So why are you asking others to seek truth for you? Because you're a religious idiot (a christian) and not a follower of Jesus (a Christian). There's no Jesus in you and so you want others to do the homework and report the FACTS that you have already made up in your mind that you will not believe. Fool. If anyone does your homework for you, then they are fools as well. Followers of Jesus have a PERSONAL relationship with Jesus; they don't demand others to seek the Lord and the truth for them. Fool. Try to make a reasonable response if you're willing to be further made a fool of openly. There's no Jesus in you, and those who are not religious can see it plain as day. .

Change in reply by Asher A. to I asked the question. Any of you who wants to answer it should go ahead and do so. Otherwise shut your trap. Here are my questions again, you deluded arrogant fool, just in case you need to realize with certainty that you cannot answer them: 1.How do you know that Henry loves the Lord? 2. What is your definition of 'loving the Lord' (what does that look like), and what is the biblical definition? 3. How do you that Henry lives the Word? 4. What is your definition of 'living the Word' (what does that look like), and what is the biblical definition?.

Change in reply by Asher A. to Mary Ann Tanner, as Jesus said to the religious leaders of His day, "You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God" (Matt. 22:29). God was angry at Aaron and Miriam not because they spoke against Moses but because they were speaking against Him (not Moses) and His decision to choose Moses in their speaking. Furthermore, God only judged Miriam but not Aaron because her heart was far more rebellious than Aaron's. Please reread that story and note well what happened. Jesus said to beware of false prophets. The only way to know who is true or false is to have opinions and to judge. Beware is short for "be aware". This directly implies that you must "watch" if you will be able to discern a wolf or false minister or a minister in error. We are to judge, but we should only remember to leave room for God's judgment on a matter since He knows all things. That means we judge a thing and wait prayerfully for God to reveal the true or full story on that thing. We don't condemn; we judge. Why? Because the Bible, from front to back, tells us to do so, especially in these last days..

Change in reply by sallee1311 . to Great input, Jeff! Pretty much rounds up and verifies all our attempts to answer in defense of this servent of God. I think the poise with which we so vigorously engage in attacking someone’s integrity comes from our lives being led by thousands of congregations, instead of letting the words of the Bible be our most trustful Minister..
