Permission to copy select articles from Print Publication

I am wanting to print out some of your articles from the print publication that I subsribe to.. yet I do not want to do so without checking on your copyright policy and wishes on this matter.

If I do print the articles, it would be straight from the page -- keeping the source (Charisma magazine) and the article issue/date intact. I wish to give Charisma and the authors full credit for the article. Doing so, my intent is to circulate the articles and the information to some friends and co-workers - not for resale, etc. Is this legit? Another site I use (Elijahlist.org) has a policy notation at the end of their subcribed e-articles that says "Permission is granted (and you are also encouraged) to reprint these articles in hard copy form, as well as sending them to your own email lists and posting them on your own websites. We ask only that you keep ElijahList website, email contact info, and author contact information intact."

Is this congruent with that of Charisma? If not, please let me know your wishes on my proceeding or ceasing to copy the articles....

Thank you much!
Trish

    Hello Trish,

Thank you for your question on Get Satisfaction. I apologize for the late response.

If you are printing articles off our website to distribute to friends, you have our permission to do so. The only thing we require written permission for is if you are reprinting our articles in another publication, like in a newsletter or a book, or if you are mass distributing.

We appreciate you sharing our articles with your friends, and hope you continue to do so!
