Hi Jessica John.

Sorry to hear this.

Can you give us a little more to go on? It would certainly be helpful to know your StumbleUpon username, and also the browser/OS/device you are using when you try to message.

If you are seeing any error messages or conditions, could you please try and describe them to us, so that we can better understand what sort of failure you are seeing, and try to work out why.

Thanks!

Hi,
My username is "gasmn" ,my browser is firefox 5.0.1 and my os is windows xp.

There is no conditions or error messages. But, when I try to message any stumbler it always redirects me to the inbox.

Thanks for that info.

We will, on occasion, deploy a limit on messaging if we detect that an unusually large number of messages are being sent from one account to other members - and particularly so if other members report those messages as 'spammy' (or otherwise inappropriate).

We'd recommend that you wait 24-48 hours before re-trying, If the problem persists, and you require further assistance, please contact us at Feedback.

We'd also remind you that our Terms of Service allow for only one account per member, and that we have various checks and measures in place that monitor for adherence to our Terms. If you do have more than one account created and in use, we'd advise you to deactivate any and all extras before expecting messaging privileges to return to normal.

Hope this answers your question.

We do not provide any means to temporarily deactivate accounts, in the way - for example - Facebook does.

If you wish to delete other account(s) that have been created by yourself, or perhaps by others sharing your computer, then you will find that this Help Center article tells you how:
