Hi Lee.

You can request a new password reset email be sent to you via the sign-on page (look for the "forgot your password?" link.

This email will be sent to the registered email address for the StumbleUpon account. For privacy reasons, we will not send password details to any other than this address.

If you continue to encounter problems, please let us know as clearly as possible what you have tried, and what error messages or error conditions you observe.

It would be helpful, too, if you might tell us your StumbleUpon username. Commonly, this sort of problem can indicate that more than one account has been created, and we can use this information to check that angle out.

Just one, general tip: if you have used upper-case characters in your username, email address or (particularly) for your password, please make sure that you accurately repeat those details using the exact same case.

I have tried what you recommend and i get an error message that the email has not been sent and i Know that I may still be logged in but I have tried several ways to log out with no success.
I cant log off from the stumble bar because the only options on the bar are start (stumbling or sign-in).
my username is ( leegilliam )

OK, Lee. Looks like too many emails have been bounced back from your provider, and a temporary block put on mails from us to them.

We've lifted that at our end, and issued another password_reset email. Should be there by now, so let us know, please, if you have it OK (if it's not in your Inbox, please check *all* of your mail folders in case it's been sent to spam, trash, or something).

Looks like we've got more than one account for you, as well, which doesn't help matters. We'll deactivate all but the one you identified above (which is registered to an @dtccom.net email address).

Hope this helps!

thank you it is nice to have my stumble back.I use stumble a lot and i have learned things and found web sites that i never would have found any other way.
but it looks as though my likes have changed some how it looks almost like someone hacked in to my stumble likes page I use the likes page kind of like bookmarks and now that i have been able to log back into stumble there are a lot of things that I have added to my likes are missing and some seem to be bad links that take me to sites that don't exist. so now i guess I will have to delete the likes that are on my list and start from scratch.
and again thank you very muck CH
i really love stumble and i feel it is a great tool.

I'm having the same problem. But my email provider is gmail. Have you blocked sending mail to Google?

My account is mitchelltrout

Hi Mitchell. The email account we have registered for that user account is *not* a gmail account, which probably explains the non-appearance of your password reset email.

The address provided appears to be associated with a private web domain, which we won't share in this public forum, for privacy reasons.

Hope this helps - otherwise, please drop us a line at Account Support.

It is a private domain with mail redirected to Gmail servers. But it doesn't change the fact that it won't deliver my password reset email. Its been months since I've used stumble.

Hi Mitchell.

We checked deeper into our logs, and found that email sent to your 'private domain' email address had been repeatedly bounced back to us, as 'undeliverable'. We've removed the flag (at our end) that marks your address as 'not working' and have issued another password_reset email to that address.

That mail is issued pretty much instantaneously and - under normal circumstances - would be in your Inbox before I finished typing this response. If you don't see it where you expect, then you should check your various filters/redirects and mail settings to see if our mail (from @stumbleupon.com) is being blocked, returned, or perhaps redirected/filtered incorrectly.

hth!

Hi Amy,

Looks like we have a problem sending (some) emails via your provider - AOL.com - we're looking into that.

If you have an alternate address that we might use in the meantime, please write to us at Account Support and let us know the details.

By the way, Amy - you say "main account": do you know that our Terms of Service allow for only ONE account per member?

Hi Kurt.

We've issued a password_reset email to the email address associated with your StumbleUpon account.

That email should be waiting for you in your inbox, and you can use it to regain access to your account, and to set a new password of your choosing. If you don't immediately see that email in your inbox, please search through all of your mail folders for mail from @stumblemail.com - it may have been mistakenly sent to trash or spam!

We hope that this is helpful to you, but if you require any further assistance, please let us know.

can you confirm the email address is @sbcglobal.net?

For the ' djgrawlix-stumbl' account, the registered email address *is* under the domain address you think it is.

But please DO NOT create a new account. We note that your 'ratman1369' was access yesterday (July 19th), the same date as the new account was created, which tends to suggest that you either remembered your password, or found the password_reset email?

You should deactivate the second account, please.

No, I still cannot access ratman1369. Access yesterday was from the toolbar on my old computer. Once I logged out on the old machine I was unable to log in again. I still haven't received the reset email and have tried several variations of password but can't access the ratman account. I will delete this account if I can get back into the first one. ratman account should also be @sbcglobal.net. If it isn't then I need some other way to validate the ratman account.

Hi Jan.

We're sorry, but we don't have an account associated with that email address. Drop us a line at Account Support and we'll see if we can reunite you with your account.

You mean my account is lost? I've used StumbleUpon for more than a year with this account.
Where can I find this 'Account Support', please?

Ah, sorry. The link seems not to have 'stuck' - Account Support - please let the support team know your StumbleUpon account username, your currently active email address, and the email address with which the account was created. If your StumbleUpon account is 'linked' with any other social accounts (e.g. FB, Twitter) let them have that info, too, since it might help to identify your account. Thanks!
