As a general rule, you should aim to use your Thumbs as much as possible, when Stumbling - your Thumbs are your personal 'quality control'. Additionally, and usefull in such instances as you report, the Thumbs Down menu contains a <<block site>> option. Hope this helps.

I have thumbed down everyone of these and blocked aol several times, it does not work, that is why I'm posting here.

A Thumb Down alone will not result in no more traffic from a given domain - you need to deploy the <<block site>> to achieve that - and you can expect the 'block' to become fully effective after 25-30 Stumbles.  Please let us know if you still see content from the blocked domains after that interval - thanks!

We just checked your Stumbles, and it looks like you've had a run of more than 30 Stumbles without seeing content from either of these domains, so it looks like the 'block' has now kicked in.

Please use the measures as advised if you wish to stop seeing these 'sponsored pages' from these particular domains.

Thanks for the additional report - and sorry to hear that it's still happening to you. We've asked our engineers to take a closer look at what's going (or not going on) here. Those 'blocks' should work exactly as you'd expect them to, with the proviso that it can take 25-30 Stumbles for the 'block'  to become fully effective.
