Hi Stumble Nation,

Many of you are wondering what StumbleUpon's position is on the controversial Stop Online Piracy Act.

As you might have noticed, today we decided not to blackout. Instead we decided to force people to view an informational blog post with loads of resources about SOPA and PIPA and why StumbleUpon is against them:

http://www.stumbleupon.com/blog/why-w...

And if you Stumble in "All Interests" RIGHT NOW you should get a series of informational Stumbles on SOPA.

Please let us know what you think and send on to your friends! We are hoping we can further prove the value of the openness of the internet by encouraging all to band together and protest these stifling bills.

We are about to get back to normal Stumbling. We wanted to send a powerful message and it looks like we accomplished our goal.

Thanks for Stumbling!

I was wondering why I all of a sudden got a lot of SOPA/PIPA stumbles yesterday. Kudos to StumbleUpon for taking a stand. =)
