Ever since the new Stumbleupon came out I'm not able to login to Su.pr. I go to the su.pr homepage and click login and it takes me to a stumbleupon login. I log in there and I don't see a way to access my Su.pr homepage. help!

Help!

Since the updated StumbleUpon cannot log in to su.pr.

Every time I log in to Su.pr it simply redirects to the Home page of StumbleUpon.

This happens in FireFox and Chrome both and I believe in Safari as well.

Thanks!

Hi all,

Sorry about the su.pr log in issues. A pretty sure fire way to get in is to switch over to the old version via http://www.stumbleupon.com/compat.php and try logging in.

Let me know if that works or doesn't. Thanks!

I did try that and it seemed to work. Do you know when we may be able to use the update?

Unfortunately, going back to the old version of Stumble worked for a little while to access su.pr, but now is forcing a continuous reload of the page. Please fix this! I like Stumble Upon, but I use (as shown by my account), your URL shortener on a daily basis. I also rely on your URL tracking for various business needs - Please let me know when/if this is going to be fixed and where to look for the su.pr page after your transition...or if I need to find another service to use if you're doing away with it. Thank you

Which browser are you using? I would suggest diabling any addons or perhaps trying a different browser to see if http://www.stumbleupon.com/compat.php works for you.

Let me know.

I'm trying to use http://www.stumbleupon.com/compat.php as I'm having the same issue. I'm using Chrome and when I access this URL, the screen keeps flickering and it doesn't accept any data in the fields.

When I use this URL on IE, I first have to login to the new Stumble Upon, then I can go this URL, and when I'm asked to login again, after having done it, it takes me to another login page for Stumble Upon. And at this point, when I enter my login info (for the third time in less than a minute), it tells me that I have an invalid username/password/captcha... whatever...

I used crazybrowser.
Was not a lot of fun but I got there.
I honestly don't recall how many pages I had to go through. I was definitely about to throw a tanty there.
However, if you go to: http://www.stumbleupon.com/audience-t... using crazybrowser, you will see: Audience|Tools|Widgets|Badges|su.pr|Paid Discovery
The su.pr link actually takes you there and signin is fine.
No flickering or jumping.
audience-tools link still won't work in firefox.

Regards Chris.

It has worked for me this morning, Riana. I understand your frustration, trust me I do.

I ensured that I had no windows open, I was logged out of Stumbleupon, clicked the link which they've provided to switch to the previous version, logged in then went to su.pr, hey frickin' presto. It's been a bad transition for them hasn't it? But this has worked for me today. Tomorrow's another...

It doesn't work for me either, I tried your suggestion several times. This is becoming like an automated response, "Sorry about the su.pr log in issues. A pretty sure fire way to get in is to switch over to the old version via http://www.stumbleupon.com/compat.php and try logging in" It is getting frustrating a service I truly like now it doesn't work

I can't say that it does.

I've made several attempts and cleared caches and logged out, logged back but it's not happening for me.

I clicked the link above once more time and now the page doesn't even manage to load properly. I've clicked several links scattered around Stumbleupon but I'm finding alot of 404's as well.

@Riana and jmc.thetruejoe90

Which browser are you using where it reloads the page?

Also, jmc.thetruejoe90, which URLs are sending you to 404s? Is this in the old or new StumbleUpon?

Thank you! Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi all,

The reloading issue might be a Chrome-specific problem. If you can, try another browser like Firefox and see if it works there. Let me know!

I was able to access su.pr until this morning using IE (it would not work in FF or Chrome), but now this morning I can't even log in to su.pr using IE. Very frustrating. And I hate the redesign. I think SU is Digg redux.

AND clicking the help link on the SU.PR homepage generates a file not found error. To be clear, I can get to su.pr, but attempts to login redirect me to stumbleupon.com. I've tried Chrome, IE, FF and Safari on both PC and mac platforms. And on my phone.

Right. Being as no-one from Stumble' is actually offering any form of direction, I'll help being as I've had this problem and had it resolved.

Log out of everything for a start and start a fresh.
Log into StumbleUpon, the new version.
When you get directed to your front page, remove '/home' and replace it with '/compat.php'. This will then take you back to the old version but you'll have to login in again.
When you have logged in again for the second time, go to su.pr and then you should be ok from there.

It is a little long-winded compared to our usual 3seconds but it does work. I'm using Chrome on Vista if that makes any odds but the route shouldn't make a difference. I'll admit being wrong if I am but like I said, I've had this problem, I've sorted it out and I'm sharing the knowledge.

I think the fact that you have to log in again may be the confusing factor. It knackered me for a day or two. Or five!?

If it doesn't help you then I'm sorry for getting your hopes up. I hated that lost feeling and the thought of starting a new procedure killed my mind for a short while, but it just goes to show, always have a back up plan because if it's free, it can quite easily be taken away.

Best wishes and good luck ;)

Everytime I go to the su.pr homepage, I login and then get taken to Stumbleupon and not su.pr.

I try to go back to su.pr by hitting back or re-entering the url whilst logged in but keep getting caught in the same circle.

How do I get su.pr?

Thanks to one of our users, jmc.thetruejoe90, for his detailed tips on the work around this bug until we get it fixed:

- Log out of StumbleUpon
- Close your Browser windows
- Visit StumbleUpon http://www.stumbleupon.com. You will be directed to the new version.
- Log in to the new version.
- When you get directed to your Home page, remove '/home' and replace it with '/compat.php'. This will then take you back to the old version.
- Log in one more time.
- When you have logged in again for the second time, go to su.pr. You should be able to access the page from there.

Hope this helps! Sorry for the inconvenience as we work on the solution.
