Tip: How to Organize Your Favorites

StumbleUpon provides you with a number of tools for organizing and finding the pages you thumb up, enabling you to group your favorites into "folders" and thus personalize your "likes" in a way that will work best for you.

When you click on the word "Interests" on your Favorites page, you will find everything you have thumbed up grouped by the keywords associated with those pages.

In addition to the keywords generated by the topics of the pages you thumb up, you can add your own, personalized keywords, even giving each page a unique keyword, making it possible for you to organize your favorites any way you want and to easily find things again.

For example, many stumblers, including myself, use the keyword "Favorite" to mark the pages we really like, or the keywords "Read Later" to flag pages we want to return to. You can look at other stumblers' Interests lists to get an idea of how others use keywords too, but the decision of how you want to organize your "likes" is yours.

You'll find much more on how keywords work on SU, how to add your own, and how to search your favorites by keywords in this section of SU's Help Center: http://www.stumbleupon.com/help/searc...

I would love to organize my favorites and even give them more descriptive titles. When I go through my 124 favorites, I often don't know why I "liked" it from the little bit of information I get. Please make this feature happen.

ll get straight to the point.

Super Like Button / Super Favorites / Golden List / Golden Favorites

Just Visualize this simple scenario

When people stumble they like websites and Stumbleupon is addictive so people like more websites and end up having thousands and thousands of favorites.

But

At one Point they somehow remember that they want to access one of the sites they had stumbled which was of UTILITY to them , but they cant remember the site name and hence they cant even search and access it and even if they search they somehow can't find it amongst those thousands of favorites.

Basically what I mean is that sometimes you like a particular site a lot and you want to remember it and store the name separately as you might want to access it in the future or you think it will be helpful in the future so you want to store these sites in a separate list called Super likes...

Many a times I remember that I want to access that particular site I stumbled but cannot find it and this is how i WISHED something like this would exist. i believe that this happens with most stumbleupon users who are addicts and it would be beneficial for all of us.

I would be greatfull if you could find me one site i had stumbled upon but can't find it.

it's a travel related site.

Basically you enter your budget and you could as well enter your destination or country or state etc and it gives you the name of a location where you could enjoy within your budgets and what you could do.

Hello all,

FYI - This is a thread from our previous GetSatisfaction community that we moved here to track still-standing issues and feature requests. Feel free to comment and participate in these discussions if they are still relevant to your experience on StumbleUpon today. Thanks!

Are there any solutions in the works to allow you add more tags to a Stumble? IE: Add more than four tags (six, seven, twelve separate tags - is it possible)?
Delicious (to name one example) allows the user to add MANY tags (and yeah I know that's been mentioned on other threads). More tag options, might make it easier to find Stumbles users have liked, "thumbed up" and then moved on. The folder idea has merit as well.

I think it would be great idea to be able to put your favourites into folders to organize them. For example I've recently liked some pages about becoming vegetarian, and also ideas for my room, they both interest me and it would be easier to look back at pages if you are able to organize them. You can sometimes find them through the search bar, but it doesn't always work.

I use this already, and it works. My only suggestion is that we be able to search for multiple tags at once. For example: if I like a page and tag it with "graphic-design" and "vector" then search for "graphic-design, vector" I won't find anything, but if I search for "graphic-design" or "vector" I'll find that page... along with every other page that's under that tag. I just think that this would work wonders for even further helping us search through our likes.

No more tags over here, no problem, then more tags at https://pinboard.in/

There's a way to export your favourites. If there are enough people interested, let me know, I could write a how-to tutorial to export your favourites.

If you remember the good old classic "del.icio.us," you are going to love "pinboard.in"
