You have replaced the thumbs from the discovered sites with your generic thumbs and in many instances they have no relevance to the images at the links. People use the thumbs as a guide to whether the content looks good or interesting to them. WTF are you playing at? No wonder the page views have gone down - for a site that promotes itself as a 'traffic generating engine' you've F***ed up bigtime when your largest interest is photography. Are you hoping that people will read the titles? Or have you gone all democratic? Or is it so that the sexually explicit thumbs don't cause offence (indicating that your 'systems' in existence for filtering offensive content are inadequate)? Or is it so that your paying customers can have their thumbnails as preferential treatment over the non-paying submissions - because we all know the value of a good thumbnail.
I've just tried clicking one of my own links - it brought up some page I've never seen before that certainly wasn't the link I clicked - so please note that I THUMBED DOWN YOUR SPAM because it is uninteresting to me. Also, the pages that are brought up have been 'filtered' into a SU url - for instance, the page at http://vadimtrunov.35photo.ru/photo_2... has become http://www.stumbleupon.com/su/3UVgOb - what's all that about then?
For the record, I don't give a stuff about what our old toolbar looks like - I have in excess of 2 brain cells and don't need spoon feeding; neither do I give a stuff for whatever your latest image is, having seen several of your previous images and the slow decent into the graphics depravity that emerges when you hand a box of crayons and widgets to a bunch of ADHD adolescents; I don't use the stumble button - since your assault in October, I’ve added visual content - your latest actions have removed the ability to scan through thumbs for what looks interesting. However, I discover that now there is yet another, new toolbar stuck on every damn page as a header, which I do not want, in addition to the old toolbar; at this rate there won't be any screen left to see the pages!
The width for reviews has been reduced as well, suggesting that you want to remove those entirely or reduce them to a tweetable chunk at some point in the probably not too distant future too.
Is your plan for all content to be paid submissions? And all stumblers to be passive stumble clickers? In which case all you really need in the toolbar is the stumble button and the thumbs and even allow your systems to work out what a user likes to see – oh silly me, isn’t that what SU used to do?
Just what are the intentions for the future of this site because this is the final straw for me. Your site has become a very poor joke; it is not for me any more. I'll leave my account there but I have no intentions of becoming one of your Stumbledrones - I do believe there is a rumour that other sites pay people for clicks?
PS yeah, I chose that inflammatory title specifically
