Need to have a follow-up call scheduled automatically based on client data

I am new to Sugar and have a very basic need to begin with to get started.

I have information on the client which indicates if I am to call them every 6 months or 12 months to reorder consumables for their product. (based on product they purchased)

Is there a FAQ or how to which would allow me to work towards this functionality. I have loaded the client information and am looking around for the best way to do this.

If there is some recommended 'reading' for new users that would be appreciated as well.

Hi,

You need to add a logic hook (before_save) where it checks the data and makes a new record in Calls.
