Could you please add the ability to sort/arrange the order of your saved favorites, like you can with lens/film order in "edit camera bag"?

Lots of saved favorites needs to be sorted manually, so please add this functionality!

Hey erohne,

Thanks for your note. Sorry it slipped by me when you initially posted it. I was doing some clean up today and saw that it hadn't been answered.

This suggestion is something that's already on the list of feature requests for future updates. No solid plans to implement it at the moment, but you never know. :)

Cheers!

Any news on this one Allan?

Call me a nerd, but I sort all my combos in the order of films and lenses. I do this because I use Hipstamatic on different projects, commercial as well as private, so I need to have a way of finding the combos I use. And sorting by film as first criteria and lens as second is very important for me. So when a new lens comes out (like the GSQUAD yesterday), I have to delete all saved combos (around 100 favourites) and enter them again one by one in the right order... It's a big pain it the b#tt actually... :)

Cheers,
Eivind

Hey again Eivind,

No news just yet, sorry! :(

This suggestion is definitely on the feature request list. There are other Hipsta fans who've also asked for this one. I know it would be a big help to folks like you. I'll put a bug in the ear of the developers again.

Cheers!

I mentioned this one or two days ago. The solution would be, to link some favorite "camera bags" to the camera cases, so they won't just look good, they would also be useful.

hi Allan
now we can just delete or rename favorities.
it would be great to be able to reorder them... that's clear.
I add that it would be great also to be able to edit them... i mean being able to change for example the flash or the bag.
i use a lot the colored camera bags to organize my favorites but in summer when the sunlight is really strong I have to delete all of them and recreate them with just the black camera bug since with the colored one it's quite difficult to operate the app. So being able to edit them and changing only the bug will be great. thanks!

Hi Allan,

Wanna add one more voice to the chorus of others: please ask the developers to let us arrange the order of favorites!

Thanks,

Tamás

Also might be cool to be able to save them so if you have to reinstall you do not have to remember all your favorites.

Hey all,

Just wanted to note that this item is definitely still on the feature request list. I'll mention it again to the team the next opportunity I get.

And Nick... saving Favorites is also on the list. It has the potential to be a bit tricky, as there has to be somewhere to back that info up to, but they're trying to figure out a way to make it happen. :)

Cheers!

Cool thanks Allen that is good to hear I totally hear you on it being tricky, I thought of it after I had to reinstall and my backup paper listed favorites looked like they had fallen in the bay.

Hi Allan :)

Can I add a thought on to this, and see if it has been requested or can be thought about along the terms of this request? A few of us were wondering if it could be an option also where you see a favorite combo (backside view) and see the few shots that come up with that combo, if you could somehow touch the screen there and go to one of those shots? I guess in essence what we are hoping for in future releases would be the ability to sort shots out by film or lens, or by the stored favorite combo. Understand that this may require some type of mapping/linking of files, and may slow things down... But a lot of us end up with thousands of Hipsta shots on our poor little phones, and then we go to do challenges that are basically dictated by film & lens combo, so we have to hunt the shots down. Can be tedious, but we love the shots so much, we hate to delete - lol! Anyway - just putting this out there as a feeler to see if you can tell us what has been thought about?

Kind thanks, Allan!

Hey Christy,

Thanks for your note! Can you tell me where in the app you'd hope to see the samples? Do you mean something different than the samples that currently appear behind a saved Favorite? I'm just trying visualize where you're wanting to see the shots you describe. :)

Cheers!

Hey Allan,

Good question! We love seeing the samples behind the saved favorite - huge help! But the question is, getting to them easily without loosing sight of the shots/combo, or having to rummage through all the other photos to get to it. I think I would have to leave this one open for the developers to figure out a way that it could be worked in, rather than dictating my vision for it. What I say might sound nice, but then be totally off the mark in terms of feasibility underneath the code veil. I think finding any way to sort the photos is going to help towards this goal. Can you let me know what they think of this as an idea? Or if it's just something that may not work well within the app?

Thank you! :)

Hey Jason!

That suggestion is already on our feature request list. I've had a number of folks ask about that one, so I'm hoping it's something they can add to the app at some point. :)

Cheers!

Also a quicker way to scroll through the favorites when you have 100 or so combos saved, it gets long trying to find the one you need.

Dude, if you have 100, it'd be quicker to choose a lens and film straight from the front of the camera. If you can't remember your "favourite" combinations then they're not really _favourites_.

Add one more voice to that request. Also would it be possible to view the favorites as a list to facilitate finding the correct one? Thanks. Keep up the great work. I love my Hipstamatic.
