Hey Brooke,

Sorry to hear you're having some trouble with the new lens.

Can you tell me a bit more about things at your end? Can you let me know which Apple device you're using and also which version of the iOS is on that device?

Also, how about the other gear? Are you getting any crashes when you use any of the lenses/films from previous paks?

Cheers!

I'm having exactly the same issue. For the most part, the app has been stable until I updated it to version 261. Each time I use the Tin Type preset, it's touch and go as to whether the app will crash. Mostly it does and I lose the photo entirely.

At least in previous versions, if it crashed, I was still able to retrieve the photo later. This is really frustrating because I love Hipstamatic but it's becoming unuseable.

I've tried all the "fixes" mentioned on this board; force quitting, restarting my phone, etc.

UPDATE:

Okay, I tried force quitting Hipstamatic again and restarting my phone and now it seems to be working fine. I shot off 10 photographs and they all developed properly without a crash.

I may not have done the force quit when I tried it before.

Hey Steven,

Glad to hear things are working better after the shutdown/reboot. That's similar to what I'm hearing from a number of other customers too. :)

Cheers!

Hey Brooke,

Just wanted to check in on your original thread and see if you're still having any issues with Hipstamatic? Hopefully the restart/reboot trick has worked for you too. But please let me know if you're having any more crashes?

Cheers!

Allan, I'd suggest you post the steps to this fix in the comments section of the Apple App Store because I know a lot of people are having issues and there doesn't seem to be anyone saying how to resolve it.
