Hey Paul,

Thanks for your note. Sorry it slipped by me when you initially posted it. I was doing some clean up today and saw that it hadn't been answered.

This suggestion is something that's already on the list of feature requests for future updates. No solid plans to implement it at the moment, but you never know. :)

Cheers!

I would prefer this to the current Shake to Randomize function.

Hey Vitaly,

Thanks for your notes. I've just updated the feature request list with an extra note about this particular function. (The feature request itself was already on the list, I just added an extra note to make sure it stands out.) I've been getting a lot of requests for this lately and I've made sure the team knows that. :)

Cheers!

Shake to Randomize is a RIDICULOUS feature that should be eliminated IMMEDIATELY. Also...how about making the text under the pictures showing the lens/film combinations that took the images LARGE ENOUGH TO ACTUALLY READ?

Hey Mark,

If the Shake-to-Randomize feature just isn't your thing, don't forget that you can turn it off completely. Just open up the Settings app on your phone. Scroll down until you find the Hipstamatic entry. You'll see the option to turn off the randomizing on the main screen there.

I hope that helps?

Also, I've updated our feature request list with your note about the text under the images. That list gets reviewed from time to time by our developers to see what the community is asking for. I've made sure your comments have been heard.

Cheers!

thank you..a BOLD and DARK Font (Black) one size larger would be wonderful...this stuff looks like it was designed by teenagers (the only people that can see that light font stuff that is there now)

Is there another way to randomize other than to shake? I have my Hipstamatic set to shake to randomize sometimes, and often find it too sensitive. Not as much of a problem in Oggl, but it sure is a big one when it happens in Hipstamatic!

Hey Warren,

Thanks for your question! At the moment, shaking is the only way to activate the randomize function in Hipstamatic. We do have a number of suggests on our feature request list for a button or control to trigger the randomizing. It's something I'm hoping that we'll be able to add at some point. But currently, shaking is the way to go. :)

Cheers!

I like the idea but I would not want to miss the shake to randomize option either!! It would be regression to get rid of it! There are so many mixes you would NEVER know, if you always use your well known faves. I have found my favourites by SHAKING! I use it all the time!
Just sometimes it's too sensitive indeed when I don't want it to mix, it does, and the other extreme is when i want it to mix, i shake like crazy and it won't do it! Not sure why that is so... ;./

Hey Katrin,

Thanks for your note. No worries on the Shake to Randomize feature. It's one of the oldest functions in Hipstamatic and isn't going away any time soon. :)

Cheers!

Alan - any updates on this feature being implemented in Oggl? Or a "randomize button"?
