Thanks for asking Pentreiz,

If feeds use the Pubsubhubbub protocol (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PubSubHu..., new items are retrieved almost immediately.

In other cases, feeds are polled according to information on the RSS or ATOM documents.

In all situations, an attempt is made to take at most 30 minutes between the time a new item is published and the time we retrieve it.

Thanks. It is good to know. I became a client yesterday by the way. The service you offer is "hot".

Thanks!

Are you already taking advantage of the feed reading feature?

Not yet, but the feed reading capability is what triggered me into becoming a client.
I plan to use feeds generated by Yahoo pipes,Dapper factory etc.. to provide me with just the info I need and, via Tarpipe, push it to where it needs to go. Sweet !

It would be great if we could see feed polling events in the "activity" area so that we could debug if an issue is due to a feed or due to the polling frequency.

Hi Andrew,

That's a very interesting suggestion that we'll probably implement. Thanks!
