Testing feed reader

Can we have some free workflow executions to test the feed reading please?

I was really happy to see you add this. I mean REALLY happy. But I don't really want to start paying unless it's performant enough. At the moment, I use notify.me to monitor feeds. I want to run them side-by-side to compare.

Something else that would help: some information about how the feed checking technology works - is it using something like SuperFeedr or some other feed aggregation?

Thanks for your comment Jonathan,

How are you using notify.me? I can setup a feed so that every new item is sent to your e-mail address. That way you can compare both solutions.

What do you think?

Hi Bruno,

I use notify.me to monitor changes to a RSS feed (a search for Twitter @ replies) and email me when they happen. It's basic but useful, and obviously trivial to do on Tarpipe with the new feed feature.

Please do set me up with the feed, I'd like to compare. The URL is:
http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.run...

(It's running through a Yahoo! Pipe to add the tweeter's ID to the front of the message title.)

The raw @ reply search URL is:
http://search.twitter.com/search.atom...

Do you have anything written about the new infrastructure or architecture?

Thanks,

J.

Hi Jonathan,

Sorry for the delay.

Please send me an e-mail to bpedro at tarpipe dot com so that we can communicate privately about it.

Thanks!
