Issue with ExtraInfo content appearing on page too.

I think I've discovered an issue (stuffvhandw site).

I put a path extrainfo on the scala_gradle_eclipse post. It appears it's using the path correctly, BUT the path extrainfo is also appearing on the page.

I also put a test-post up in my main directory, but put post:true extra info. Again, it's appearing correctly as a post, BUT the extra info is appearing on the page.

Please let me know if these aren't supported, or if I've used them incorrectly.

Thanks for the great site generator.

If the Extra Info is at the top of the file (like in your files), you can use the format:

title:Scala project using Gradle and Eclipse
    date:2012-09-01
    tags: {scala, eclipse, gradle, scalatest}
    category:programming
    path:/2012/09/01/scala-gradle-eclipse
    alias:/2012/09/01/scala-gradle-eclipse

But if you're going to use the "reference" format, please make sure the add a '/' at the end of the line, like:

[title:Scala project using Gradle and Eclipse]: /
    [date:2012-09-01]: /
    [tags: {scala, eclipse, gradle, scalatest}]: /
    [category:programming]: /
    [path:/2012/09/01/scala-gradle-eclipse]: /
    [alias:/2012/09/01/scala-gradle-eclipse]: /

    Hope this helps.

  • Thank you for the quick reply.

I noticed the / in the examples, but it didn't seem to be necessary for the Markdown processor, and hadn't seen this issue before.

Now I know why it's there, and will ensure I put it at the end from now on.
