Food Freedom requires town enforcement of animals at large ordinance.

I am fully supportive of this initiative, especially with regard to raw milk and cheeses.
HOWEVER, in Brooksville, Maine, our family has had a severe problem with a neighbor whose 'grass fed' swine, foul, goats and sheep have been allowed to free range and thereby graze down our property ornamental plants and fruit trees.
While we manage our kitchen garden organically, our ornamentals and fruit trees are not organic.
SO, towns that pass the Food Freedom ordinance would have to ensure, by enforcing their animals at large ordinance.
This has not been the case, in our experience in Brooksville, Maine for the past 5 years.
