EMPLOYEE0Ron, perhaps it is the speed of the double-click? I'm not sure how to configure that on ubuntu, but I'm guessing it is in some properties text file under the java directory. Can you try double-clicking as fast as possible to see if it makes a difference?
You can also single click and then use the enter key to begin editing.
I have the same problem testing the eval version. Windows XP w/all mandatory updates. Moneydance 2008r3 (631) Java 1.5.0_06.
Resizing the full width of my 22-inch monitor does not not solve the problem. See image. On the far right, you can see only the cents part of the split amounts.
Splits are already a bit tricky in Moneydance, as compared to Quicken. This is a show stopper for me in desire to migrate to Moneydance.
