I’m frustrated

T-mobile sucks in MADISON, WI

I live in Madison, Wisconsin. I obviously have T-mobile, and not only do I not have service in ANY buildings I go to, but I can't even make a phone call outside no matter where I go. This is the CAPITAL of WISCONSIN. There is no reason why I should have no service. I have better service at my cabin up north in the middle of no where. This is so outrageous I may as well have no phone. If they don't do anything about this I'm demanding a refund.

  • I’m absolutely frustrated.
I am from Hong Kong and bought a T-mobile sim card when I was in Boston on business. Then I came to Madison to visit my daughter. Though I received her calls a few times in the last few days, there was no connection all day today. We arranged yesterday that we would meet up at State Street today noon.

When I got to State Street, I tried to phone my daughter but found there was no connection. I switched on and off the phone a few times and walked along the entire State Street, the situation remained the same. Eventually I had to change to my Hong Kong sim card and it logged onto AT&T right away. Then I called my daughter to tell her where I was.

  • In case anyone is considering T-Mobile DON'T!

They lied to us when we signed up by not telling us that Mimi's iPhone would not get 3G/4G. Then no one at India customer support could figure out why she couldn't text message. Then they got mad at her for asking for someone who COULD help and hung up on her! Her phone constantly loses it's configuration and she has to re-enter it by hand! No one at T-mobile can fix it.

Then 3 1/2 weeks ago my Samsung S3 died. T-Mobile "express" shipped me one that arrived FIVE days later. I'm told there are NO loaner phones available by customer support. So I go a week with no phone. The new phone arrives and IT'S DEAD TOO!

So then they tell me it's the battery, and I have to PAY $15 for a new one, AND wait another 5 days. So I buy a battery on Amazon for $25 and get it overnight. Turns out IT'S THE 2ND PHONE that's the problem, NOT the battery!

Now customer service says they're OUT of Samsung S3's to send me - do I want an HTC One instead? DID I BUY AN HTC ONE YOU IDIOTS? WHY WOULD I WANT ONE WHEN I PAID FOR AN S3?!?!

So then customer service says they've authorized the local store to give me a new phone. I go to the store and they say that customer service isn't allowed to do that! But then they say that THEY can order me an S3, but IT WILL TAKE 3 MORE DAYS! Then they tell me they DO have loaner phones - circa 1992 technology.

Guess what? That phone was supposed to arrive TUESDAY. It's FRIDAY and that phone HAS NOT ARRIVED.

So we call and want out of our contract. We're told we can't get out without paying $200.

They want $300 to let us out of a contract they lied about to get us into, didn't provide the service they promised, and won't replace the phone I PAID EXTRA to have the extended warranty and insurance on! I was without a phone for 3 weeks, I'm still without data access and I have to PAY for my S3 and data plan while I'm stuck on a crappy phone so old I'm surprised it doesn't have a rotary dial on it.

T-mobile is the WORST company I have ever dealt with. I will NEVER go back to them, and I'm going to make it my personal mission to tell EVERYONE I can to NEVER go to T-Mobile.

    DO NOT USE T-MOBILE!!!!

  • T-Mobile sucks nationwide. They are naturally stealing money! I have switched to Verizon for better reception and canceled my family plan last summer. But T-Mobile continued to charge me for 6 (SIX) month after that. I have called them 4 (FOUR) times. They were doing cancellation with me on the phone EACH time, reassuring that everything is great now. But they have continued to charge my card after that month after month. After the 4th call they have refunded part of my money. But in the form of an AMEX credit card, which is not working in the places I'm shopping! And yes, they DID charge me for the canceled and refunded service a month later AGAIN! AVOID this robbers!
