The Agent-string is a way for websites to know which browser you're using to access. Different browsers have different Agents. With InBrowser you can change those agents by pressing Menu->Change Agent.

This way some sites which usually would give you a mobile-version of a page will now serve up the usual page. This is very useful for site which limit functionality in their mobile versions.

----

We tried replicating your problem using Menu -> Change Agent -> Google Chrome and then Menu -> Start Page. Which gave us the usual start page (but without ads that are unique to mobiles) without any problems.

Try and change agent and go to another page (using Menu -> Go To), such as Google.com. Does it work?

If not, could you please provide a bit more information so we can resolve this issue.

Unfortunately it doesn't work

I can indeed access the home page but not anything else.

I get error 403 access denied using Google Chrome for example.

Thank you for your help, I really hope I can make it work because it would be great

Are you behind some kind of a corporate firewall or proxy? Error 403 could potentially be some kind of security software within your network. InBrowser is unable to throw any errors like that.

If you try and do the same thing on another network (such as home, work, at a friends house or on 3G), do you get the same error? Also, try a few different websites such as yahoo.com, google.com, ebay.com.

Which device and Android-version are you on?

I'm happy to hear that the issue was "solved". The problem is most certainly within your cell carrier network as InBrowser is unable to throw an error like that.

Would you please mark this issue as solved?

Thanks and have a nice day!
