Why is there not a screener tool...if you added a screener tool like finviz.com I would definately pay for a pro, that is all you are missing. The couple screeners you have now are just not custom enough. This is the opposite of you amazing charts. I just wish i did not have to bounce between two websites to see the information.
Is there a way to screen stocks I am missing?

1Unfortunately, we don't have this feature at the moment. We are going to add it in the future. There is no ETA. -

Hi,
Please consider scanner functionality on time based as well. i.e. 1/4 hour, 1/2 week, 1/3 months etc. covering intraday along with longer time-frame as per the user's choice.
More importantly, previous sessions data scanning needed. i.e. I want to scan stocks with the data of last week or 3 days back or 2 week back 1 month back.
e.g. today is September 10, 2016 and now today i wish to scan data not of today's EOD or real-time but instead September 8/7/6/5. Simultaneously for intra-day.
Much appreciated!
Thank you. -

Hi,
As result/output of filtered screener is oftern gives more than 200+ ticker names, It becomes difficult to go and look chart for each one in user specific layout.
Thus request you to please enable chart preview upon mouse hover over the ticker symbol. (Like finviz.com)
e.g. If I move cursor of my mouse over any symbol/ticker then I should be able to see the chart of that script.
Much appreciated!
Thank you. -

Hi,
Please also allow user to create alerts right from the output/result of the run screener.

Hi, last July a stock screener with a phenomenal 100+ filters was released to all users. More information can be found here https://blog.tradingview.com/en/stock...
The initial open beta test was completed successfully. Please note the following:
1) We are constantly improving the screener by adding more features, filters and exchanges. Keep an eye on our blog to stay informed https://blog.tradingview.com/en/stock...
2) We do not plan to develop functionality where you can create filters, based on custom codes and variables, which are not currently available in the tool. The reason for this is the enormous resources that would be required for such a task. This may change in the future, should we find a solution.
Thanks for understanding and happy scanning! -

Would love to have a customizable screener. Feels it's missing in Tradingview, all the major tools offer this.

Has any further consideration been placed on the customization of the current screener feature to be able to create a radar screen of real time custom indicator or strategies. It's essentially combining the alert function into the screener. I'm learning to become proficient with coding, but it seems like TradingView is almost there with the capability, it just needs to be combined under one application. That added (combined) feature would definitely set this app above many of the competitors. I'm namely thinking of TradeStation, which currently has that feature and capability.

What is exactly missing from TV stock scanner/screener in your mind? Its hard to tell from the latest comments. For me it is the ability to do something like this:
stocks that hit a new 75 week high 11 days ago and closed today higher than they closed 11 days ago when they made their highs.
What are your specific examples? They have added a boatload of screen factors but I think the big picture message is we need programmable scans like TC2000 or TS or etc. But you gotta give concrete examples of what you cant do today. -

and for all you guys bringing up FinViz, what can you do in FinViz that you cant do with the current TradingView screener? That is very important for us to understand if we are making a big ask.

It starts with a number that adds a fixed value for each fixed period of time, such as increasing or decreasing every second.
