Is it possible to mark an episode (or an entire season) as watched?
...and is it possible to remove a watched-tag?
Thank you for your answer(s)!

Yes, you can add individual episodes or seasons to library. There is a button on each of those pages. It will place an "added" banner. It's similar to watched but it is a better indicator you manually added it. You can remove an added episode from the episode page too.

Most stuff I "added" has been watched in XBMC. I'd like to manually mark things as "watched" so I can keep track of my library as well as watched items.

If implemented: People who don't use XBMC could manage their TV Show libraries as well.

Any plans for adding this in the future?

The "added" flag is intended to mean you watched it outside of xbmc. We wanted to make them appear different than a "watched" status since we want that to mean you actually watched it via the xbmc plugin. I tried to make this work kinda like how last.fm allows you to add things to your library you haven't actually scrobbled.

there is a 3rd # in the mix, plays ... if this is what "added" does, trakt does not let you display your lib *and* what is watched... it only lets you display what is watched (in or out of xbmc).

i added all 10 seasons & i think this is confusing ...
236 plays
2 watched,
234 added

- any good (video) library is always getting new acquisitions (new stuff *added*).
- stuff gets *watched* (out of xbmc/or "watched" toggled off/on again)
- stuff gets *played* (>95%+ in xbmc)

does that make more scene ?

also what 2 have i watched ?
is there a way to see that ?

I certainly would like to use trakt to keep track of my library... which also includes the episodes I haven't watched yet.

I too like to see the "added"-flag to mean it isn't watched (at all).
So, if "watched" means it was flagged by an add-on.
...we would indeed need another flag. Perhaps "seen" to function as a manually-marked-as-watched flag?

Both good points and I see what you mean. Right now watched is set only when you truly watch something in xbmc. Added was intended to be you have "seen" it just outside of xbmc or pre-trakt. But I see your point where it would be cool to change added to mean "i have this show in my library unwatched" and add a new status "seen" to indicate you watched it outside of xbmc.

We'll have to look into it more and see what makes the most sense to do. The main thing we will always want to preserve though is "watched" being the main indicator throughout the site. Eventually other media centers will be supported, so ideally trakt would be sent updates from several devices you might use to watch something.

I see the "watched" status was replaced with "seen it". Much better! If sometime in the near future "added" would return as a means of library management - I'd be very happy. Anyhoos, thanks so far!

I like that ... "Added" being "watched previously" seems .. weird.

I agree with the term "seen" as being you saw it somewhere else (or before using the addon) and "watched" as you watched it in XBMC.

I would love to see three statuses:

- Added (Its in my library, unwatched/unseen)
- Seen (Saw it somewhere without using the addon)
- Watched (Watched it with the addon submitting)

Adding to this.. having the ability to mark an entire season or series as "seen" from the webui, as well as individual episodes.

+1 on that, added / seen / Watched seems good.

You could increase the size of the added and watched overlays..
...and add icons. Also a big plus for those who don't understand English so well.

The "Watched"-flag could have the Trakt logo, the "Seen"-flag an eye icon and the "added"-flag a plus.

hi,
you should not increment the count of total episodes again, when a new epsiode is "watched", which has been marked as "seen" before.
Or one should be able to remove "seen" flag, after the episode has been watched. (would solve the problem)
... and if it equals, just show one number.

thx

hi,
I still think it is not correct this way, or am I looking from a wrong perspective?
Sorry, if my first post sounds a bit offensive, but that's just bad english.
Nice job so far!

I have an issue. If I manually mark in xbmc, means I watched it.
If I manually mark in trakt means I watched it. This info needs to flow between xbmc and trakt. I have 13 seasons and watch them all before I even knew what this plugin did. Here is the problem if I refresh my computer where xbmc is. I will nolonger have the history of the shows I seen, except for the ones I watch while this plugin is active which would be today. So If I refreshed right now. I would only get 1 episode marked as watched! How do I Update trakt to update xbmc with all the shows marked as seen!
