I don't know. Maybe the admins will decide that at a later stadium when the website is more or less complete. Right now a lot is still being added. It might not be a good idea to implement this feature now since it could be very difficult to translate in every language at the same time every time a new feature comes out.

It could also be that this feature is not coming out at all. After all if for example there is a German version of the website people will be more inclined to post messages in the shoutbox in German.

Im not requesting a translation of trakt web, but of titles and overviews of shows and movies. Trakt grabs this info from themoviedb and thetvdb sites, and these offer multilanguage titles and descriptions.

Maybe its an idea to have seperate localized versions of the website in a few languages. For example a French version of the website where people can talk in French and see both the English and French comments on everything, but people in the English version of the website cannot see the French comments. What do you guys think?

I do not really care about the interface language, but it would be great to see the calender in the correct country. At the moment it is useless. :)

I think that that will be very difficult. Every country has its own programming. There is no website that monitors all these different tv channels on a global scale. Also in most cases different episodes are airing than on the channels on witch they air originally. You would have to account for that too.

Maybe this is just a problem that cannot be solved unless you ask for the help of the trakt community. Right now there are close to 18.000 people on trakt signed up from all around the world. Maybe the admins can set up a similar system to thetvdb but than for the calendar so people on trakt can say how late and on witch channel a tv show is gonna air and witch episode that is gonna be.

The calendar request has nothing to do with this thread subject. Its difficult too.
Supporting multilinguage overviews and titles would be easy (IMHO)

I think everything is already translated at IMDB. The website has other versions to non-english countrys)

BUT I would still show the original name together with the translated one.
