Non-existing TV Show in collection

I just found a database inconsistency in my account. Don't know how it happened (maybe TraktUtilities for XBMC?) but suddenly I had an "empty" show with 2 plays in my collection.

I found it, because I tried to debug why TraktUtilities is crashing when cleaning the collection. I deleted it manually from my TV Show collection, but it still appears in my collection, because I've watched it two times...

You can see the wrong entry here:
The very first one is the one I'm talking about.

Could you manually delete these entries from the database? Since I can't access the non-existing TV show, I can't delete the watch entries.

Thanks in advance!

This is now fixed. Turns out it was an issue with the caching system. Please let us know if you still have any issues.

Hi Justin,

thanks for your reply!

Unfortunately the TV Show just reappeared, so I digged in deeper in TraktUtilities and found out that the API is returning two entries for this TV Show. One entry is completely empty (an empty JSON object) and the other one has got only the TVDB ID entry filled. The episodes entry was in both cases episodes 17 and 18 which led me to the conclusion that both entries are actually one and the same.

So I cross-checked my local collection and found the corresponding TV Show. As it turns out it is an german TV Show and this way it is stored in the TVDB. My guess is that Trakt assumes the entry to be valid on creation because it has an TVDB ID given. But when you are querying the TVDB to fetch show information you are not finding the entry because you're only looking for english TV Shows.

Well, as I said it is just a guess from trying to reverse engineer Trakt. :)

The TVDB ID in question is 252399.

Thanks for your efforts and let me know if you need any further information or help!
