I just discovered Trakt and it looks great! Is it possible for Trakt to scan my watched library? I already have seen a lot of tv shows and I'm wondering how to get that information into Trak?

We are looking into this. I am not sure we will do an auto scan or not, it may be more manual to start. For example, you could mark an episode watched on the trakt website to keep a record for your own purposes.

I've added the ability to manually mark individual episodes and seasons as watched. This will allow you to sync trakt with things you watched in the past.

You must be signed into the site and you will see a button in the top right of each season page and just under the episode synopsis on each episode page.

The feature does work. But the profile remains the same, even if you enable "Include added episodes" on the tv shows "see more" panel.

And the setting is reset everytime I go back there.

Maybe it's just the way it works but I don't see the point of it if changes aren't reflected in the user profile.

User profile pages have been updated to better integrate "added" episodes in addition to your watched episodes.

i just found trakt too and its awesome. but this is not working yet...

i see it's marked shows i've watched since turning it on. thats cool... 2 plays, 2 watched, 0 added

after manually adding 10 seasons through the site
(one by one, manually. next, add, next, add, next, add... ... ...)
it now shows 236 plays, 2 watched, 234 added

why have i played everything i've added ?
why am i even adding stuff into trakt ?
toggling watched off/on should update trakt ?(10min now and no change)

pulling a watched list or syncing whole be amazing !!!
(a way to "fix" friends in my library [2,2,0] would also be appreciated)

i hope trakt becomes da domb!

The way it works right now is this - watched means you actually played the show and watched it in xbmc, added means you have seen the show outside or xmbc (or pre-trakt).

Toggling the watched status won't send that info to trakt, it only sends when you are actually watching the item. We are looking into syncing your library between xbmc and trakt. The main intention of the site is to track real plays you are watching from xbmc.

The new trakt-import.php scripts that was released today works great, so I'm happy!

Could you please give some clear steps on how you can install and run this script in a Windows environment?

Install PHP from php.net, enable the webserver in your XBMC, get the import script and plugin all your info in the top of the file. Then run the script "php.exe trakt-import.php"

If you are running a nightly build of xbmc (feb 22 or newer) there is a new xbmc plugin out that will sync your xbmc and trakt libraries.

I'm downloading the lastest nightly build to test it, but before I've got a question. This wont remove my 300 tv show that I've already "trakt" right!? :D

Anything "trakt" (i.e. you really watched it via the plugin) won't ever be removed with the API calls. This other plugin is not maintained by us, but afaik it doesn't remove things marked as seen. It will however sync up the collection view so things could be removed there.

Ok thanks, but I didn't get so far.
The plugin is installed, but I can't find the option or the way to run it.

I'll try to get plugin author help.

EDIT: Finally it work going to Videos -> Video Add-ons -> Trakt Utility

I just discovered trakt last night, fantastic. I manually added all tv shows, documentary, concerts and movies that I've been watch to my google calendar. I know that I can add manually to Trakt but can I change the watched date on Trakt?

That is on the todo list to allow the changing of the "seen" date for movies and episodes. Is that what you mean?
