TaxLink Will Not Activate with ProFile

Hello,

I scanned my documents into DoxCycle. I am ready to TaxLink to ProFile,I made sure to enter the clients name and save it to a file in Profile. However DoxCycle remains unlinked to the file no matter how many times I select to link them. I am running what appears to be the latest version of both software (ProFile 2011.4.5 and DoxCycle 1.23.7623.0). What am I missing?

    Hi,

    A way to check if you have established a link - go to File - Info and look under the "Externally TaxLinked Files" section. When linked correctly it should display the name of the taxpayer you have linked and the location of the ProFile file. There should also be a button on the right hand side of the screen that states "Unlink". If you do not see that I would recommend re-attempting the linking process, detailed instructions can be found here: http://doxcycle.com/help_profile.php
