blackberry issue connecting truecaller

After installation on blackberry, when try to open TrueCalelr i got the following error message : "The application encountered an error connecting to TrueCaller service, please check your internet connection and try again"
I have access to internet without problem through other app or browser
TC version 2.751

We just released an update, 2.77 - can you confirm that the problem has been solved with this release. There might be some delays of visibility on App World.

We made some fixes on our back-end side so please if you have not upgraded to the latest version on App World please do that. If you already have, please try TrueCaller again and hopefully it should work much better now when making searches.

I just downloaded the app, but get this message: The application encountered an error connecting to TrueCaller service, Please check your internet connection and try again. I check all settings but couldnt figure out the issue. Please can you check and revert

Hello, the new version (2.793) can find numbers if you do a search, but wont work automaticly and show the nane of the caller (caller id activated in options), Also noticed that this version ont block unwanted numbers. Nb : all permissions are allowed, bb bold 9000 v5.0

First time the call will come through - but after the call you need to tick the box where it says "Don't ask again" - and select the button "allow". Then the next time the call will be blocked.

Regarding the Caller ID - what kind of connection do you have? Edge?

Concerning the call blocking, i will try it (even i dont care a lot for this option)....
i tried the caller id on wifi, Edge and 3G ... and none works for me.

Dear TrueCaller-team,

I installed the application on my BlackBerry Torch successfully, version 2.794

But when I try to start it I get same error in subject above;

"The application encountered an error connecting to TrueCaller service, please check your internet connection and try again".

Please advise..

We are currently looking into this issue and we haven't really identified what the problem is. But on our test devices it's working perfectly.

This is the thing!

Is it possible that some countries/ carriers are blocking this app?

FYI: TrueCaller website (www.truecaller.com) is blocked in UAE.
