@tweetstar is tweetjacking my (unifex) posts. They're doing this with at least one other person also.

Is there any way to either stop them or suspend their account?

I'm also being tweetjacked (nice term, Gold) by @tweetstar. I have contacted Ciomi, at Block Headware (the URL tweetstar mentions in their profile), and they stress they are not affiliated with this Twitter account in any way.

I've managed to get the following tweet to display in their timeline:

tweetstar is stealing tweets from unifex and Schilling. He is filtering 'at-replies' and is not affiliated with Block Headware. -Schilling.

They appear to have automated this via the 3rd-party service: TwitterFeed.

Please suspend this account.

Although we do allow aggregating of public updates, re-posting others' updates as your own, or in other words, without properly crediting the author, is not allowed on Twitter. In most cases, this is either a spam tactic or a person misusing the service without realizing it.

To get your updates removed from another account's time line, please send an @reply to:

1. @spam with the user name of the tweetjacking profile; this way our spam team can make sure the account is not a spammer

2. the account owner asking them to remove your updates from their time line

If your updates are not credited as belonging to you or removed from the profile within 24 hours of your request to the account owner, submit a complaint to Twitter Support, and include:

-the user name of the account that is re-posting your updates
-the URL of your removal request, like so:

Our support team will research the account and get back to you with more information.

Thanks Crystal!

If it happens again (and here's hoping it doesn't), I'll be sure to follow your instructions.

Awesome turnaround. :-)

Cheers, Adam.
