Twitter tells me that my email address isn't working.

I keep getting the following notice:

Is your email address active?
We've tried to send emails to (my address), but they are not getting delivered, possibly because your email address is no longer valid. Click here to update your email settings, or click here to try sending messages to your email address again.

The email is CORRECT. I've re-entered it 20 times. But I still keep betting the message. Any suggestions?

Same thing here. I have been asked that same thing many many times. My email address works just fine. I get email updates every time someone follows me.

It is obvious that this is a bug in Twitter.

Since it says above that Twitter monitors this but is not active in this community what good does it do. If they are not active then they will not respond, right?

Why would Twitter link here from their site and then not be active here? HMMMM????

same here - for quite a few months!!! I keep clicking "click here to try sending messages to your email address again" but it keeps happening. I own the e-mail domain, so I don't think it is a spam filter issue!!!

I also know that MANY other accounts are having the same problems!!!

Exactly same symptoms and results as HL7 above. Started around December 2012.

Working through this page ...

Same problem here. It's my server and I get emails from everyone else fine. Please make it stop.

I'm guessing it's something to do with the setup of my server - my other twitter account sends emails to a different server fine. I can't spot anything though and I've never had any failed test emails. There are no error messages on the server at the times it happens and other emails arrive fine.
